Compliance gives admins and transaction coordinators a centralized view of every deal’s document health. Oun’s AI reviews your documents for issues — missing fields, inconsistent dates, jurisdictional requirements, and more — so you can catch problems before they reach closing.
The compliance dashboard
Go to Compliance in the sidebar to see all deals across your organization.
Deals are grouped into three sections:
| Section | What it means |
|---|
| Todo | Deals that haven’t been reviewed yet or where the last review failed |
| In Progress | Deals with a review running, completed, or with findings |
| Completed | All required, assigned, or waived checklist items have been approved |
Each deal row shows:
- Deal name and type
- Review status (e.g., “Reviewing documents” while a review is running)
- Unresolved finding count or “All Resolved”
- Checklist approval progress (e.g., “3/5 Approved”)
- Deal status, creator, and last updated date
Use the search bar and filters (deal status, deal type, user) to narrow the list. Admins can filter by any user in the organization. TCs can filter by their assigned agents.
Click any deal to open its compliance review.
Key concepts
Compliance review
An AI-powered analysis of the documents linked to a deal’s checklist. The review checks each document individually, then cross-references documents against each other and against jurisdiction-specific requirements. The result is a set of findings — specific issues to review.
Findings
Issues detected during a compliance review. Each finding has a severity level:
| Severity | What it means |
|---|
| Critical | Major compliance or legal issue |
| Major | Significant issue affecting document validity |
| Minor | Non-critical issue or best practice gap |
| Advisory | Informational note |
Findings can be resolved (issue addressed), dismissed (acknowledged as not actionable), or left unresolved.
Checklist approval
Each checklist item can be approved or rejected by an admin or TC. A deal is marked complete when all required, assigned, or waived checklist items have been approved.
Who can do what
All actions require access to the deal. Admins see all deals in the organization, TCs see deals for their assigned agents, and agents see their own deals.
